I have been wanting to write about food for years.
I love food. I’ve lived and eaten all over the world and been taught to cook in more countries then I can remember. I make no claim to be a professional chef, and nor would I want to.
I am a passionate and curious creature with food who has been told to train as a chef (as I am very bossy and angry in the kitchen).
But there are two reasons I don’t want to be a professional chef: the first is that this is my passion; I love cooking and food and never want to hate it. The second reason is the unsociable hours that come with the job!
I have also worked in the service industry for several years and that, coupled with my military background, means I have a very high expectation on service and excellence.
I have eaten in the smallest Indian backstreet restaurant to the nicest restaurants London has to offer. I have now moved to Los Angeles and want to start writing about food for pleasure and, most of all, feedback. I will never be rude, but I will be honest.
This is just my opinion and people should always seek several feedback avenues before making their own minds up!
I will eat out and tell you about the food, service, cost, menu and general atmosphere that I encountered. You are welcome to comment if you agree or disagree with my critique.
